Patches For Add-On Products
There are two sets of patches available on this page: the first set will bring the indicated add-on package current so that it can work with version 4.0 of the RTS-Advantage Accounting System; the second set updates the indicated add-ons to be compatible with changes made to the RTS-Advantage Accounting System through Patch 26.
If you are upgrading from a version prior to 4.0 you'll want do download both patches; if you have already installed 4.0, you'll only need the second patch and should install Patch 26 at the same time.
Patches To Bring Add-Ons Current With Version 4.0
These patches will bring the indicated Add-On Program current with version 4.0 of the RTS-Advantage Accounting System software. You must have the previous version of the add-on already installed on your system in order for this patch to be successfully applied.
These patches are installed on your system using the DeltaDOS utility which can be downloaded (click the link below) or retrieved from the RTSUtils directory of your RTS-Advantage version 4 CD.

After downloading the patch file below, decompress it into a dpf (Delta Patch File) and then use the DeltaDOS program to install the patch.
If you have been accessing an add-on program by entering a module code in the RTS-Advantage GoTo window, you'll need to copy the patched executable to that module's executable. For example, if you have been entering FA in the GoTo window to access the A/R Archiver, you'll need to apply the patch and then copy the ARARCHIV.EXE file to the ADFA0002.EXE file. Patches To Bring Add-Ons Current With Patch 26
These patches will bring the indicated Add-On Program current with the changes made to the RTS-Advantage Accounting System by patch 26.
These patches are installed on your system using the DeltaDOS utility which can be downloaded (click the link below) or retrieved from the RTSUtils directory of your RTS-Advantage version 4 CD.

If you access these add-on programs in RTS-Advantage by chaining to them by entering an unused module code in the GoTo Window within the software, you'll have one additional step to complete after updating the program with the DeltaDOS patch.
In the RTS-Advantage PROGS directory copy the executable file:
AR Archiver - ARARCHIV.EXE
POS-Remote - PS10.EXE
to the module executable file name in this form:
ADmm0002.EXE
where “mm” is the module code (like ST for Summit, FA for Fixed Assets, etc.)
For instance, if you access AR Archiver by chaining to the Bank Reconciliation module, the command would be:
COPY ARARCHIV.EXE ADBR0002.EXE
This extra step will make the updated version of the program available when you chain to it within RTS-Advantage.
