Starting in 2012, Payroll tax tables are distributed with the eFile Prep module. In order to update your tax tables past 2011, please purchase that product. Tax table updates past 2011 are not available for download from the website.

To install this patch, download the ADPRTXTB.DAT file to your AFILES directory, allowing it to overwrite, if applicable, the existing ADPRTXTB.DAT file. Then, to update the tables in your Payroll data, follow these instructions.

NOTE: In order for these tables to function properly, you must also have your version 4 software current as of Patch 36. The tables have a new prompt at the end to accomodate EIC calculations which required programming changes throughout the module. Click here here to learn more. These changes are in response to the recently enacted stimulus package. The IRS asks that employers begin using these tables in liew of the previously published tables as soon as possible, but no later than April 1, 2009. |

The Louisiana tables are not required until July 1, 2009, but it is our understanding that users may begin using them before that date; the tax rate changes will be applied to the entire year when filing tax returns in 2010. Please consult your Roundtable dealer or your accountant for details. Both the Louisiana and Missouri tables use the FWT deductions in their calculations, so be sure to note the deduction numbers listed on the existing tables before deleting them. This is discussed in the tax table update instructions. |

NOVEMBER 7, 2005: Updated the OASDI limit for 2006 and added new 2006 tables for New York.
OCTOBER 18, 2005: Corrected a problem on Mississippi Married tables. The State Exempt line had "12" where it should have had "12,000". All four Mississippi tables have been changed in order to maintain consistent naming protocols in Payroll program 58. There was no change to the calculation. JULY 20, 2005: Added new table for Kentucky that is effective immediately. MAY 2, 2005: Added new tables for Idaho that take effect as of January 1, 2005. The state says that no retroactive adjustments are required but employers should begin using the new tables immediately. MAR 4, 2005: Added new tables for Iowa which take effect April 1, 2005. Note that previously Iowa had 4 tables; these have been consolidated so that now only 2 are required. Each table expects both FWT deductions rather than a separate table for single and married. JAN 25, 2005: Added adjusted table for Montana. This table goes into effect immediately. JAN 6, 2005: Added current tables for the District of Columbia. JAN 4, 2005: Added current tables for Oklahoma. Note that in order for the Oklahoma tables to calculate as accurately as possible, you should enter one less state exemption in the Employee Master than is claimed by the employee on form W4. |
