eFile Prep for 2013/14 Tax Table Update Released

As usual, many states, and the federal government, wait until the last minute to announce their tax rate changes for the new year. This year is no exception, and we are releasing a new update to the eFile Prep module today The new edition of RTS-Advantage eFile Prep includes updated tax tables for FWT and these states:

• Federal Withholding
  
• Delaware
• Kentucky
• Massachusetts
• New York
• Rhode Island

In addition, we removed the New York Yonkers tax tables as they have now matched the regular New York State tables in all respects that our tables support for several years. There are still some special rules for resident vs. non-resident employees of Yonkers employers, but our table calculations do not take this into account.

In addition to the table changes, the FICA limits have finally been nailed down, and we have updated the defaults in eFile Prep to reflect them.

The suggested retail price of eFile Prep 2013/14 is $695. Registered users of eFile 2012/13 may update to the 2013/14 edition for just $249. If you have already purchased eFile Prep for 2013/14, you can download and run this patch that will update your current installation.
