eFile Prep for 2013/14 Update #2 Released

A few states have waited beyond the last minute to issue their 2014 tax tables, a situation unfortunately pretty typical. The new edition of RTS-Advantage eFile Prep includes updated tax tables for these additional states:

• North Dakota
• Vermont

More importantly, we discovered that the paper W-2 printing routines were not updated to take advantage of the new FICA Federal Reference Numbers now added to Payroll. This release corrects that problem, and will be needed to print the FICA amounts properly on paper W-2s.

One additional note -- the District of Columbia has issued new tax tables, but they appear to be identical to the old tables. No update has been made to the DC tax tables.

The suggested retail price of eFile Prep 2013/14 is $695. Registered users of eFile 2012/13 may update to the 2013/14 edition for just $249. If you have already purchased eFile Prep for 2013/14, you should download and run this patch that will update your current installation.
