The 2003 edition of the RTS-Advantage Magnetic Media reporting system is now available. The new version is needed by any business which plans to submit their W2s or 1099s electronically or on disk this year. The suggested price for this package is $295 for DOS/Windows or $395 for UNIX. Please call your dealer to order.

Those who own previous versions of the Magnetic Media package should note that the old versions should not be used to make new submissions.

There are no changes to the W2 and 1099-MISC forms for tax year 2003, so if you are on current software, you should have no trouble printing those forms; what worked last year is still good for this year.

These updated tables are for the following states: California, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, North Dakota, New Mexico, New York and Vermont. In addition, updated tables are included for Puerto Rico and the OASDI portion of FICA. The FWT tables were renamed to reflect the new year, but the actual calculation has not changed since the tables that went into effect in July of 2003.

Note that these tax tables will only work with the current software, version 3.3.
