The software previously produced by Armor Systems Inc. was designed from the beginning to function in the date range of January 1, 1900 through December 31, 2099. However, this functionality had a number of problems. Global problems included incorrect handling of the date February 29, 2000, default date ranges ending on December 31, 1999,  and incorrect recognition of system dates past December 31, 1999. In addition to these global problems, there were many additional problems localized to specific programs and functions—these problems were usually related to incorrect handling of year 2000+ dates that resulted in faulty date arithmetic in calculations, incorrect recognition of month and year, garbaged display of dates, etc.

Roundtable Software has corrected these problems by repairing and adding code in practically every program and function of the software to produce the Roundtable Software Advantage Accounting System. This product has been thoroughly tested to function correctly for any date in the range January 1, 1900 through December 31, 2099.

Although the Roundtable Software Advantage Accounting System  is Y2K compliant, it is very important for the software user to also ensure that their computer hardware, operating system, network and other utility and application software has also been tested and approved for Y2K compliancy. Hardware and software problems outside of the Roundtable Software Advantage Accounting System can have adverse, possibly even disastrous effects on the functioning of the software.

We at Roundtable are proud to offer the Roundtable Software Advantage Accounting System and we have great confidence in the proper functioning of the software based on the rigorous and thorough testing it received prior to release. Because of the large size and scope of the product it is unlikely but within the realm of possibility that some unforeseen problem may be detected in the Y2K date handling. Such a problem would surely be minor or localized in nature. If such a problem is detected, we are fully committed to producing and making available a repaired or patched version of the software. In the unlikely event that a problem is detected we pledge to devote all resources of Roundtable Software to resolving the problem so that users will have a solution in the shortest possible time.
