The Inventory module allows you to sort items on reports by any field or combination of fields you want from the item master. The default sort orders (Item Number, Group Number and Description) can be supplemented by a Custom Sort Order that you define. For instance you could have items print in Location order, or by Product Category order, then Group Number order within that order. To use the custom sort order that you define here choose that option at the Print Order prompt in appropriate print programs.
No new features here, but we did add additional fields to the list of those that can be used, and the interface is a heck of a lot less confusing than the DOS version!
