Demo Product

The demo version of the DOS product is completely functional, so you may use it to explore all the powerful features and capabilities of the actual product. This demo version is limited only by the following:

Company files may not be expanded beyond their current sizes
New companies may not be created
All reports print the word DEMO along the left edge
The Supervisor login cannot be changed
The demo version may not be up to date with the live version of the product

The demonstration product is provided for evaluation purposes only. If you wish to use the product on an ongoing basis you can purchase the live version from your Roundtable Software Advantage Accounting System retailer.

Once you receive the demo product, here’s a few pointers to help you in evauluating the product.

LOADING INSTRUCTIONS
At the DOS prompt, type D:INSTALL (replacing D: with the letter of your CD drive). Then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.

CREATING A SHORTCUT
In Windows Explorer, go to the ADV\PROGS folder and right-click on the ADV.EXE file. Select the Create Shortcut option, then drag the newly created shortcut icon to your desktop.

SCREEN SELECTION
If your screens are hard to read, go to System Administrator program 2, Customize Station, and select a better station type.

ENABLING THE HELP SYSTEM
Throughout the the Roundtable Software Advantage Accounting System, you can hit the F1 key to obtain help. To activate the Help system, go to System Administrator program 13, Help Maintenance, and select the Default Company option. When prompted for the new default help company, enter AA.

USING THE HELP SYSTEM
At any point in the Roundtable Software Advantage Accounting System, you can press the F1 key to receive help on the current field. Within the Help window, you can select Options to list other available Help topics, such as Standard Keys and module overviews. The live product includes a full, printed manual as well as this online Help system.
